Our purpose and mission

Financial security in an uncertain world

FLIT makes it easier to make good financial decisions on a day-to-day basis to build long-term stability. We do this by working side-by-side with you to understand your circumstances, goals and challenges. Our AI-backed engine is used, alongside mathematical calculators, to identify and recommend resources that may be available to assist you.

Many of these resources are already in the public domain (e.g. government websites), but can be hard to access (discover), to understand or to use (complex). With the rise in digital banking, it can be hard to access a person who can understand your situation, and to receive appropriate information without finding yourself being nudged into a sales call.

FLIT acts as your buddy in navigating your financial life.

In the private pension world in Ireland, women today reach retirement age with average €120K less than their male counterparts. It's never a perfect world but what we do is supplement the knowledge you may already have with 'next steps' appropriate to your life.

FLIT is particularly aimed at people in the squeezed middle, and is female-first.

Women need different financial tools and education

Our founder, Deirdre, has strong business and tech experience. As a single parent, Deirdre earned a decent mid-range salary, but with high outgoings. Her strong financial awareness, including of entitlements and supports, led to good family and personal outcomes.
